What's coming next ?! #2


Hi everyone ! Carton here~

Little disclaimer : I am late for this update as I fell heavily sick the past 2 weeks. Made me learn that I should write the updates a little each week instead of all of it in one time ! Sorry for the delay and enjoy the Dev note #2 !

When we look at the original roadmap, I planned for March to be the New Fighting system to be fully added. I got that partially now  and mostly changed things here and there. Because of the new fighting system, The previous playable build of the game is going to disappear ONLY for this month. This is the only time I'll tolerate the game for not be in a playable state.

What was supposed to be done : 

  • Stasis evolving shader  
  • Change each environment for each iteration and make it more unique 
  • Fully playable memory moment 
  • Re-usable faithfight system 
  • Lots more of concepts arts

What was done : 

  • Shadows & better lights 
  • Concepts arts of fighting arena, creatures and weapons
  • Complete adaptable loading screen & system
  • Learning back 3D modeling in Blender & animating
  • Homemade night sky shader

What I learned : 

  • Scope for March was too big, I'll need to reduce the next ones.
  • I should not underestimate myself and stop tying to reinvent the wheel every morning
  • Be confident. Trust myself more. I got this !

So what is my next objective then ? 
Releasing at end of April a complete playable build with the new fighting system incorporated EVEN if it's only placeholder models.

Enjoy some concept art -made by yours truly -I know they are not fantastic looking but I hope you'll get the overall idea and enjoy the game as I will enjoy making it !
